Bluebird Hill Grand Opening Recap

With a sigh of relief and a feeling of gratitude, we can sit back, breathe deep and relax for a moment to reflect on our opening, held Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-30. Each day, we welcomed a lot of great people, some old friends and some new friends as well. We’re grateful for our sister wineries in Monroe, Sweet Earth and Tebri Vineyards, for suggesting to some of their guests to take the drive up into Alpine to come visit us. Bluebird Hill, Sweet Earth, Tebri, and Broadley Vineyards have joined together to form our own local winery collective, the Monroe Hills Wineries. We hope to offer some special events for all of our guests, including special tastings, wine and food pairings, and progressive events. More to come on this!!

We offered up a tasting of all seven of our wines, and we got a lot of really nice comments about them! Also some nice feedback about the way we have set up our outdoor tasting areas, the tasting room, and a couple of people even said we have a pretty nice scenic view!

In all honesty, the preparations to get ourselves ready to be open to the public, along with managing the winery and vineyard operations had kept our eyes focused mainly on the grand opening and Memorial Day Weekend. Now, finally, we can look at the rest of the summer; we have a calendar now for some special events that we hope you can attend:

Regular summer hours: Fri-Sun, 12:00 – 5:00 through Labor Day Weekend

Other hours: By Appointment

Meet the Winemaker Event: Sunday evening June 26 (Hold that date!!)

Cheers,

Neil & Sue
