Whew!

Once again, we’re sitting down to catch our breaths and send out this update!! When people have asked us ‘how are you doing?’ this summer, we’re answering ‘great, but busy – just like everyone else!!’

Bluebird Hill Cellars is having a good summer of business! Our wine sales are up from last summer, which is great, considering we opened in 2017 with twice the amount of bottled wine compared to 2016. Everything is selling well, the whites, the pinots, and our dessert wines, too. A grateful “THANK YOU” to our loyal friends who have come out during the summer to enjoy our wine and venue. We may sell out of some of our offerings before the Thanksgiving weekend, so please think about placing your holiday orders now and we will set aside wine for you to pick up at your leisure. Your wine will stay cool and quiet in our climate-controlled storage area.

Our summer events have been going on: Pinot on the Patio was a lot of fun, and our Solar Eclipse Party was the largest ever hosted at Bluebird Hill!

After three months of planning our charity golf event, Play It Forward, supported our local United Way and our South Benton County groups was a great success. We had 56 golfers tee it up, 50 or more different sponsors supported the event with donations and/or prizes, and everyone had a great time! Lots of fun, lots of prizes, and good food. The final accounting is not done, but right now we are thinking about $4,000-$5,000 was netted and delivered to United Way to help them do the good things they do!
